My main workshop, located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, was started in the winter of 2014-15. Here I have a fully outfitted workshop, which is centered around my big yellow monster, a Powermatic 35-20B. This lathe, and the accompanying tools, allow me to turn up to a 20” bowl and 30” platters. In this shop I turn all my bowls and platters as well as most of the odd projects that I create.
In the fall of 2018, I opened the second workshop, this one in my basement. Outfitted with a much smaller lathe, a Nova Comet II. This new shop allows me to turn during the week and is where I make all the smaller pieces, the bottle openers, bottle stoppers, and spinning tops.
